In 1999, Michaelangelo was handpicked by none other than Tom Ford to infuse his musical expertise into the vibrant soundscapes that graced the runways of iconic brands like Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent in Milan and Paris. His remarkable journey extended from the luxury fashion industry to the luxury hospitality sector, where he assumed the role of music director for prestigious global brands. Notably, in 2009, spent six years with W Hotels, crafting a globally implemented entertainment platform that seamlessly aligned with the brand's expansion across four continents. 

In 2015, he transitioned from W Hotels to establish Lacqua Agenzia, a creative agency specializing in experiential event production, sensory branding, cultural programming, and the development of unique sonic identities and entertainment strategies for iconic brands as Richard Brandon’s lifestyle cruise line, Virgin Voyage and Cartier. 

Currently, Michaelangelo L'Acqua serves as the Global Entertainment and Cultural Director for SH Hotels and Resorts, where he curates and directs entertainment and cultural experiences across a portfolio of distinguished brands, including 1 Hotel, Baccarat Hotel, and the Treehouse Hotel. His influence transcends conventional hospitality, shaping immersive experiences that captivate and inspire discerning guests. 

In addition to his corporate achievements, Michaelangelo L'Acqua is a dedicated music director for various charitable organizations, such as amfAR, Unicef, the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, The Prince Albert II's Global Ocean Foundation, the New York City Food Bank, and Steven Tyler's Janie's House for Abused Women and Girls.
